Kick off this year’s holiday celebrations by stopping by to see the Holiday Train and this year’s musical guests – Scott Helman & Madeline Merlo.

Bring cash or healthy food donations in support of Community Food Share.

(The tracks are  adjacent to James Street between Williams Street & George Street)

St. Andrew’s United Church, Martintown, invites you to their annual Advent Eventide service – an evening of peaceful advent inspiration on Sunday, December 1, at 7:00 p.m.

The evening will feature harpist Ian Hepburn, soloist Paddy Kelly, joined with some young folk, along with special choir music led by the church’s organists Bill Ellam and Lisa Zeran. Time for fellowship follows the service.

Freewill offering (suggested minimum of $10). All welcome.

Join St. Paul’s, Winchester on December 7th for a 3-hour workshop on the “Basics” for Treasurers.  Facilitated by Oliver Ng, the Presbyterian Church’s Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, the workshop explores a number of topics from an overview of the job to specifics on charity status and tax returns with a whole lot of in-between.

2nd Annual Chili Dinner & Trivia @ North Stormont Place, Avonmore

The United Church’s Planning Committee is hosting its second annual Chili Dinner & Trivia Night at North Stormont Place in Avonmore.

Doors open at 5:00 p.m. – Chili supper at 5:30 p.m. – Trivia begins at 7:00 p.m. There is also a silent auction, door prizes and 50/50 draw. Good food and lots of fun.

Cost for the evenings is $20. Tickets at the door (if any are left) will be $25. Tickets available from Rev. Lois, Nancy W, Diane K or Lois S.

All welcome. Come and wear some St. Paddy’s green!
